Growing Your Faith!

Today, I took the “State” portion of the Real Estate Sales Person Exam.  This was the second time, having ‘Failed’ the test three weeks ago by 2 question.  I got 19 correct answers, but the passing mark was 21.  Failed by 2 points.  What a disappointment!

The Receptionist said, people do not pass the test by just one (miserable) point.  He said I would have felt worst if I failed by one point.  My sorrow should be less because I lost by 2 points. Thanks for the encouragement.  In other words,  if  I had three wrong answers I would be much less disappointed.  Okay.   

Back to today. – There were 35 questions and all I had to answer correctly was 21.  It is a multiple choice type of test, wherein 4 choices pops up every time you press, NEXT in the computer keys.   

You feel happy when you see the question and the answers and you know the
answer.  But what happened this morning was not good. When the first question came up, I eliminated two of the possible answers but could not be sure which of the two remaining options was correct.  This is when you start twisting in your seat and PRAYING to the Holy Spirit for help.   

Anyway, I had to choose one option and then pressed “Mark” so I can come back and
review it later.  Then I went on to the question #2 by pressing NEXT.   

The same thing happened, – I was not sure which one of the two options I chose was
correct.  So, I was now begging the Holy Spirit to help me, otherwise if this keeps on, I am done again for the second time, which was a very, very bad thought.  

By then I was now recalling about what Jesus said about the Vine and the branches.  I am just a branch and can accomplish nothing if I am not connected to the Vine.  So, I affirmed to the Lord that I am only a branch and I needed some sap of wisdom from Him the Vine, the source of all things in this planet.  That  I am committed to stay connected to Him always.  But please send some sap of correct answers.   

Out of the 35 questions, I Marked 18 questions. This meant that I was not sure of half of my answers.  It was an agonizing one hour.  I answered #35 and still had 12 minutes to
review the marked answer. 

My Conversation with the Holy Spirit.  

I said . . . ‘Jesus, Holy Spirit,  I know you are the Vine and I am just a branch and  without you I can do nothing.  This is one occasion when I need you to guide me to the correct answers.  If you don’t, then I am a goner.  I admit that I can do nothing without you.  If I pass this test, I now believe more than ever before that it was You, Holy Spirit, that did the test for me.  Thank you in advance for showing me the right answers, Amen (and so be it)”.  

Then I proceeded to review the 18 ‘marked” questions. I read and re-read the
question and the two possible answers. I pretended that I was a high government
official who had the knowledge and authority to decide which one was the right
way to go.  I kept on saying, “If I were to decide which way to go,- this is where I will go”.   

PASS

My time was up.  The hour ended and I had to press the final word…”END”  and then
The screen popped up the results.  “…………..PASS. . . . . 

Wow, thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit. The Real Estate Commission does not release your score.  Some of the States do, but this state does not.  So I will never know whether I made 21 or more.  The point is the Holy Spirit helped me to PASS. 

My Faith. 

Guess where my faith is now?  Way up!  The rest of the day, today, I have been
walking on clouds.  I have my Real Estate License for the next two years, until the next test.     

So what is my message?  

Everyone has a measure of faith. The Bible says – even if your faith is as small as a
mustard seed, it will grow, if you use it, like you use your muscles.  If you do not use your muscles, you lose it.  And so it is with our faith.  We need to use it as often as possible.   

Remember, we are just a branch and the Lord is the Vine, – without Him we can no nothing. Amen.  

p.s.  Please do not test the above.  You will not make it.  You may make it for a time, but sooner or later you will stumble.  You may not like what I just said.  Better forewarned than sorry. 

 

 

 

Who Are You Following?

Are you following someone in Twitter?  Are you following a top corporate CEO or a football star player or a baseball star? Or are you following your beliefs that you come from a poor family, with very little education and etc and etc so therefore you will
also be poor.  Do you feel you are a prisoner of  your circumstances?

Actually, it is not our circumstances which imprisons us. It is ourselves, our mind, which
imprisons us. We allow ourselves to be imprisoned by our environment, – our circumstances. Pastor Joel Osteen of Houston, Texas, often tells the story of the circumstances of his father.

His father came from a poor family in Arkansas. But early on, he decided to break away from being poor and made a firm decision to get a good education. Long story short,
after many years,  Pastor John Osteen, rose up to become one of the well known
Pastor in Houston and brought forth his son Joel Osteen who is now known  the
world over.

There are many stories similar to this. It shows that man (and women), when they decide to break away from their “prison”,  with strong determination,  do break-away to
unprecedented heights.

Look around you,  your co-workers,  your friends,  and your  neighbors. You will find out that most of them came out of personal  “prisons”  and  made it.

Breaking Out of Your Prison!

       1.      Make a firm decision to break out.

       2.      Find a role model.

       3.      Follow your role model.

The question now is, – who would be your role model. Would it be a great scientist, an inventor, a business tycoon, prime minister, or president of a country?

Why not Jesus Christ, the God and Man who suffered, shed blood, and died on the cross,  to save all of us from going to hell, some 20 centuries ago? Think about that for a moment.

After all Jesus is God, our Creator and Supplier of the air we breathe,  our ability to inhale the free air He provides. The nine very high tech systems of our body which
keeps us alive.

Jesus, the Provider. When the Jews escaped from Egypt and were traveling in the desert towards Jerusalem their promised land, they had no way to feed themselves. It
was a desert. God provided them with manna each and every morning without fail. And to think that most of those in the desert did nothing but complain, complain and complain. Sound familiar?

It is till happening today in the year 2011!

Ask yourself,  – does it not make sense that,  if your are to follow something or someone, why not follow the role model of all role models, Jesus Christ! To know Him, read a few pages of the old book, a.k.a., the Bible. It is His love letter to all of humanity, Christians,  Moslems, Buddhists, and everyone. It is the manufacturer’s (Jesus) operating manual for us, the manufactured ‘items’. He made us and the Bible is the operating manual for us, how to operate smoothly, how to do maintenance work on ourselves, how to keep us healthy, happy and prosperous. All this instructions are in the book!

Yes, He wants us to be prosperous, like Abraham, King David, Solomon.  It is when we mis-use the entrusted wealth from God that we get into trouble.

All the information in books in all bookstores, Books A Million, Barnes and Noble and
all the libraries in this planet cannot compare with the information you will find  in the 66 books within the big book, the Bible.

Read Up.  And Follow Jesus.

Here is a story which happened over 2,000 years.

“Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame,
paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.

For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever
disease he had.

Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”

Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for
you to carry your bed.” He answered them, “He who made me well said to me. ‘Take
up your bed and walk.” Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you,
“Take up your bed and walk.” 

But the one who was  healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place.

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a wrong thing come upon you.”      John 5:2-14. (NKJV).

Jesus knew the man wanted to be healed. Why do you think Jesus still asked him if he wanted to be healed. To find out the man’s self built “prison”.

Notice that the man did not answer Jesus’ question. Instead, he answered with an excuse or a “blame” at the fact that no one helped him get to the pool before anyone jumps in ahead of him.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Sounds familiar doesn’t it. We blame the government, we blame the “system”,  the bureaucracy,  Bush #1, Bush #2, Obama, Osama the Bin Laden,  or our mother-in-law.

Jesus with few words, as usual, – said to the man  – “Rise, take up your bed and walk”.

Or you might have said, “Stop bellyaching, stand up, get the job done, and move
ahead”.

“Make a list of your strengths and your weaknesses. Concentrate on your strengths and get going. Ask the Lord to help you because without his help you are not getting
anywhere.”

This is the part where we all stumble. We do not rely on the Lord, our Creator. We are the branches, and He is the Vine. Without Him, we can do nothing, yes, nothing. We
might succeed for a while, but as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, you will stumble.

Break out from your prison and decide to follow Jesus.

Review on:  Acupuncture

My first experience with natural remedies was in connection with my lower back spine column. Some people call it a freak accident.  This is how it happened.

It was in 1983, while I was based in Jakarta, Indonesia.  (I was then 48). After taking a shower, I was drying myself up with a towel. I lifted up my right foot so I can reach it to wipe it dry and then . . . from out of no where  – oouuucccch!

The pain was in my spinal column – lower back.  My legs buckled and I fell slowly to the floor of the shower!  I kept still on the shower floor not moving a stitch because of the pain. The slightest movement produced excruciating pain in my lower back spinal column.  So I kept still on the shower floor quietly praying that the pain will go away.  After a minute or so, I was able to straighten my legs, very, very  slowly, inch by inch.

It took me several minutes just to straighten my legs.  Then I tried to sit up.  Very slowly because the pain was still there. Then I grabbed on the edge of the tub and started pulling up myself.

The best thing I could do was to take aspirin.  The following day, I flew to Singapore where we go when we have any medical issues or emergencies. Thank God, nothing was broken.  The doctor prescribed “Valdoren”.  So,  for the next two years, every time I felt some slight pain in my spinal column I would take the pain killer, Valdoren.

Introduction to Acupuncture

One of my jobs as Technical Advisor for an American company assigned to Indonesia was to visit the five branches of our local distributor.

At the time I was visiting  a branch in Sumatra (1985),  the Branch Manager,  Rashdi,
who had the same lower back problem was scheduled to visit a Chinese Acupuncturist.

It was God sent. I went with Rashdi on his visit to the Acupuncturist.  I observed the whole procedure and was convinced that the Chinese Acupuncturist was a genuine practitioner and knew what he was doing – and he used new needle!

So I went on with my own treatment.  It took all but 30 minutes.  The Acupuncturitst stuck a few needles on both sides of my lower back spinal column, the lower legs, and one at the top of my head. And then he connected this needles to a small storage battery.

The electric current from the battery produced a very gentle massage where ever the needle was located – on my lower back, my legs and the top of my head.  This went on for about 30 minutes.

Since then the pain never came back until after 13 years, in 1998.  At this time, I was then living in Houston, Texas.

The same thing happened.  I was wiping my feet after showering and something in my  lower back appeared to have snapped and the pain was as excruciating as the first time in Indonesia. I fell to the floor of the shower like the first time.

This time however I knew what to do. Get to an Acupuncturist.  The big question
was, ‘Is there an Acupuncturist in Houston, Texas?  I started praying.

As soon as I was able to get out of the shower and into my home-office room, I grabbed hold of the Phone Book and turned quickly to the yellow pages.  Turned quickly to “A” and in no time saw “Acupuncturists”.   Lo and behold the first listed was “AAA”
Acupuncturist.  It was 11 am, Saturday. I immediately dialed the number and a lady with a Chinese accent answered.  I thought, thank God, this is a genuine, Chinese speaking, china trained acupuncturist. Click on the website and then click on ‘Provider’   – www.aaahealthcenter.com

Dr. Cathy Liu  answered the phone and said she was about to go home, being Saturday,  her office closes at 12 noon. I asked her politely but firmly,  “Mom” I said, “please wait for me, I am ‘dying’ with this spinal column pain.”  I believe she knew the pain I was in, so she waited.

This time, it took two sessions.  The doctor said because I was older than the first
time when I was in Indonesia.

Since then, I have spread the word about acupuncture as an effective non-invasive, non-surgery procedure.  I have not used the pain killer, perscription drug since 1985 or 26 years ago.

Consult with an Acupuncturist.  Evaluate and try it.  It is non-invasive and has been practiced in China for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Personal Relationship with Jesus

Jesus’ death on the cross resulted in countless blessings for those who have a personal relationship with Him. I did not know what a “personal relationship with Jesus”  meant until I was 65 years old.  According to  a study,  about 85-90%  of the world population do not know either.  So if you do not know, you are not alone. Most people would say that they know or relate to a god or God but not Jesus Christ.  Some do not believe that Jesus is God.

There may come a time in your life when your circumstances brings  you to a place
between a rock and the deep blue sea and no where to look for help but UP to someone up there.

Or you have become a drug addict and no amount of rehab seems to help you kick the habit.  Or it could be any desperate situation, like a serious sickness, financial loss, broken relationships,  your vehicle got “totaled”,  your house or apartment got burned,  your mother died suddenly, or other circumstances.

The ideal thing is to establish the Personal Relationship with Jesus as early as possible, so when situations like I just listed happen, you have someone to turn to immediately !  But we humans are usually very busy trying to get ahead with our own effort, when in fact help is available.  I have said this before, you may get ahead , but sooner or later, you will stumble.

You have to stay connected at all times. All you have to do is to give up trying to use your supposed brilliant mind and call for Jesus to HELP you.  Admit that you are a sinner, decide to turn your life 180 degrees,  (in other words repent of your sins and start a new life).

Acknowledge that Jesus shed His blood and died on the cross in your place, was buried and on the third day rose from the dead and after 40 days, ascended to heaven and is now seated on the right hand of God the Father.

And finally, ask Jesus to  come into your life and be your Lord & Savior.

At this point you have established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Do not expect bells and whistles  or thunder and lighting.  You will know Jesus is in you because you will finally feel at peace, worries are lifted off your head and the heavy load
lifted off your shoulder.

 You are now under the New Covenant

God no longer sees your sins.  What He sees is the blood of Jesus covering
you.  You are now under the grace,  (unmerited favor) of God.

You are no longer under the yoke of the law. You are no longer the slave of sin or the devil.  You are now the servant of the Lord.

You no longer serve the devil.  You now serve the Lord.

You are no longer under condemnation !!!

You now have these  blessings: (if you believe  and ask for it).
The unmerited blessings,  favors, and grace from God.

• assurance that God will never leave you.
• right standing with God.
• the forgiveness of your sins:  past, present & future.
• abundant provisions , (goods & funds).
• good health & healing from sickness.
• restoration of lost relationships.
• good success in your work, career.
• becoming a channel of blessings to others.
• great patience..
• becoming the beloved son of God.
• becoming greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved.
• greatly improved determination not to miss the mark (not to sin).
• you have a house in heaven which you did not build.

And much, much more

• Jesus is with you, so everything you do will succeed.
• You do good because you are grateful.
• You will want to know more about Jesus from the Bible.
• You will want to become His follower.
• You will start studying what it cost to follow Jesus.

The book is a story of the author who wandered in the desert for many, many years before he found the way. When I was in Business School, my classmates and I  thought we knew it all – how to get ahead and manage any kind of business entity.  We thought ourselves to be “bullet-proof”.  Most people do.

People usually go gung-ho very often by instinct.  You may get ahead for a while, but
sooner or later, you  will stumble. Look at the former Governors of California, South Carolina, New York, Golf Champions, previous aspirants to be a candidates for President and even Preachers, Priests,  some Singers, Actors, and  Actresses.  How about those who do not get the headlines.  Many.  Thousands, maybe millions. Doing their own thing relying on their own “intelligence”.

If we are not Connected to the right Source, we are not going anywhere. In fact, even if you are Connected, you can still get hit.  But then, we know where to run to immediately.  We do not have to be wandering around with a bottle in one hand and some peanuts on the other.

We do not have to die to go to hell.  (I know).  We create it ourselves right here on earth.  Think about that  for a minute.

Stay Connected & Move Forward! – One

I enjoyed the business consulting work, but living in hotels 300 days out of the 365 days in a year was not a joke. Together with another consultant, we would work for a  company, say in Lincoln, Nebraska, for one to two weeks, then on Friday evening, rush to the airport and fly home to Houston.  Get a rental car and drive home. Then on Sunday afternoon, with the same rental car, I would drive back to the airport and fly out to another city for another assignment. I never used my own car for a year, which was in a way a good thing.  The other really blessed thing was  that on Sundays, I would be in the hotel watching TV most of the day and was introduced to the Sunday Church
Services of  Pastors Joel Osteen, Charles Stanley, John Hagee and many others.

After a year as a traveling consultant, I resigned from the company and took a break.
After three weeks, I was offered to work as a Sales & Marketing Director of a Limited Service Hotel. Thank God for that.

In the meantime, the interesting thing was that I started to attend Sunday Church service in a Baptist Church and also attended its Bible class.  It was a totally new experience for me.  Accustomed to attending business classes,  marketing classes, teaching marketing subjects and now attending Bible class. I was a total ignoramus if there is such a word.  I was baptized in 2001.   

The Bible ! I found out that the Bible has 66 books.  That thirty-nine of the 66
books  were written  by about 40 prophets  over a period of about 1500 years. And wonder of wonders, the trend of thought never changed.

Twenty seven of the 66 books, known as the New Testament, covered the period from the virgin conception of Jesus to the book of Revelations which  are prophecies of how the world,  as we know it,  would end.

As a newbie born-again, Bible Reading Christian, I was eager to learn as much as I could as quickly as possible.  I realized how much I missed in terms of living a contented and calm life.  What a waste.  One of my Bible class friend said :

“Everything has its time.  You had to travel the desert so you will learn the hard way what it is to be saved, what it is to be liberated from the bondage or slavery to the sinful lifestyle of the world. Just be happy and grateful at the fact that the Lord’s appointed time for you is now.  Now is the time and the season for you.  Just do your best and God will be with you always”.  What else can I say, but Thank You Lord!

Following the advise  of my new Christian brothers,  I started reading the book of John, then the book of Romans and so on. During the past 10 years, I have come across so many, many great and profound verses that are priceless to say the least which makes
me eager to share it with friends and stranger alike.  Here is one of them:  

Stay Connected  “I  (Jesus) am the vine, you are the branches,  he who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing.  John 15:5. 

“you  can do nothing.”  This is difficult to take.  It is like someone wacked the back of my head. When we were a baby, we had to rely on our parents or nanny. But as we grew up, we had to look after ourselves.  Some who are successful  claim that they are “a  self-made person”!!   In reality however there is no such creature.  Even the air we breathe is provided  by Him.  Also the ability to inhale the free air was given by Him.  So, honestly, I have to admit that I can do nothing without Him.  Are you ready  to admit that?  Give it some thought. (In fact, we cannot stay healthy without His  blessings. Everything has to be within His will).

Speaking about the will of God, – when Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane, He
fell on His face and prayed, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass
from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”  Matthew 26:39. Jesus
had in mind His imminent suffering and eventual death on the cross.   

Jesus demonstrated to us that even He,  the Son of the Father, adhered to,
accepted, followed, obeyed the will of God the Father that He, Jesus, has to
die on the cross to pay for the sin-debts of humanity .  So, how much more we His little
creatures.  You and I have seen many people do things against the norms, against God’s principle and eventually stumble.  

Over the years, I have seen many people, who were cocky, bullet-proof type, “superman” type, really smart type, eventually stumble and some end up in jail or worst, dead.

I hasten to add that even we, who adhere to the will of God,  are still visited
with problems.  We, however,  know that the problems are placed before us
to make us tough and resilient. To learn how to persevere,  and all for the glory of our Creator.

Since I turned over my life to the Lord, life has become calmer.  I still have
problems, but I am more confident that the Lord is with me and I will be
successful in any good thing I do because I know God is with me.

Here is one nice thought:  When I make my last trip, I will be travelling very light.  No luggage,  and no TSA to go thru.  My passport to heaven  is stamped “PAID IN FULL”,  by my Advocate, Lawyer, Sponsor  and Defender, no less than Jesus Christ Himself.
Can you imagine that? Can you believe that?

He did not have Peter or John sign for Him. Nope, He did it Himself. The God who came down and be like one of us.  He picked me up from the trash can and from
the dumpsite.  What more can I ask.  Think about this for more than a minute.  Here is another gem.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.  John:15:7. 

I have asked for things and I have received it.  Some of the things I asked took  time to arrive, but it did.  Try it and observe.  I must confess that what is difficult about asking the Lord for something is our lack of belief or trust that He will do it.

IF it is for our good and if it is the right time for the blessing,  we will receive  it.  What takes time to acquire is that complete trust, total absence of doubt, that He is the Great Shaddai, the God who is the all-sufficient source of all of our blessings.  None of our
problems are too big for God to handle. I will say that again.  NONE OF OUR   PROBLEMS ARE TOO BIG FOR GOD TO HANDLE !

And here is one more:

“You did not choose Me,  but I (Jesus) chose you and appointed you that you should go
and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”   John 15:16.  So, go ahead and ask the Lord.

Read the verse again: He chose you and appointed  you that you

Stay Connected & Move Ahead!

Why am I sharing this information?  The answer is   simple.  I spent many years, decades in fact, wandering in the desert, not certain where I will end up. In heaven or in hell.  I was doing fine in my career but really, where does that kind of success lead
to? I eventually found out, the hard way, that if you are not securely connected
to the Almighty Creator, you will stumble, sooner or later.  When people hear this statements, some of them roll up their eyes.

 I hope by writing and letting people know about my journey, it would help them avoid or totally prevent such a mishap.  My life was almost  “totaled”,  like in a “total” wreck of your vehicle in a highway accident.  Only by the Lord’s mercy did I  survive.

I continued my search as to where I will end up. Many years passed and then in the year 2000, at age 65, I finally found the answer.  Of all places,  in the oldest book, we know as the Bible.  More often than not this book is gathering dust somewhere in many homes.   I was born a catholic and do not recall seeing a Bible at home.  Even when I attended high school run by the catholic Jesuits, we were not introduced to the Book.
What I saw were Catechism pamphlets.

I saw an old edition Bible gathering dust in the Admin office of a Church !   Well, I saw what I saw, I even handled it and leafed thru its pages.  Sad.  In a church of all places.  Perhaps I was not in the right Church.  I did not know any better.

Finally
In 2000, I was at that time doing business consulting work in several of the states north of Texas and invariably on Sundays I would be in my hotel room watching TV and got exposed to the many church service programs.   For example,  the Sunday services of Joel Osteen, Charles Stanley,  John Hagee,  Michael Youseff and many others.

It was good.  I needed a break from business matters,  so the church service preaching was a great relief.  That is how I found my way to salvation.  It is so simple so much so that  many people ignore it because it seems too good to be true.  Well, it is true.

I found out that all I had to do was to admit that I was a sinner and then  promise  to the Lord that I will turn away from my sinful ways,  (meaning repent),  believe that He came to earth, was born and later on suffered, shed His blood and died on the cross in my place.  That he rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to heaven on the 40^th day.  His death on the cross was the payment for my and the  sin-debts of all humanity to the heavenly Father, whether you are Buddhist, Moslem, Christian or other
religion.

What is difficult to believe  is that we do not have to do anything except
believe in our hearts and say it with our mouth what it says in the above paragraph.
I believe it is our human nature to want to do something in return for such a great gift as salvation.  But it is very clear that we cannot do anything to save ourselves.  Only Jesus can.     

Our salvation is like money in the bank.  All we have to do is withdraw it or ask for it.  And here the problem lies.  Most people do not believe that it’s that simple to be saved, so they go on with life knocking themselves over uselessly. Always feeling  guilty, never sure where they will end up, always wondering and asking, “Did God really forgive me
for killing that person?  For stealing  or telling a huge lie?”

And worst of all, here comes the devil and he whispers to your ear, “No, God did not forgive you.  How can He forgive a pervert like you, a hypocrite like you”.  Then  you get depressed and you are back to minus square one.  Millions of supposed Christians are in that state of uncertainty.  It’s a pity.  All they have to do is read the Bible.  And allow the  Holy Spirit to enlightenment them.

About this book

It is the  story about my life’s journey to date. Hopefully I can accomplish in some way the Lord’s instructions in Matthew 28:19: and provide readers some encouragement that regardless of your situation at present, there is hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel.  Even if you are a drug addict, or other things, nothing is impossible with God!

 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;  and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” 

Post Script

6:47 am, July 18, Monday.  I am awake but still in bed. My mind started
to rev up.  Yesterday  after I posted Part 3 of this book in one of
my blogs,  I asked myself,  what would the Lord want this book to
accomplish?

Here is what came to my mind. That I should share my experiences from the time  I bought my first Bible in 2000.  I have heard countless Pastors delivering their Sunday lessons, attended Bible classes regularly, read regular size books, industrial size books, small pamphlets, tracts, and other publications via television and the internet.

I have learned what “speaking in tongues” is about. All these  information
are filed in my head, on paper filed in binders and everywhere else. I do not
want all these good information to go to waste.  It could mean people spending eternity in heaven with the Lord or in hell.

 

Somehow I have become driven to compile all of these priceless information into a handy, light, Field Operating Manual;   a ready Reference for me and for those who have not yet met Jesus Christ.  It is a story of one man’s journey on how he found the narrow pathway to the Lord.  All of these events were within God’s will and
most definitely not from my own mind.  I believe a small size, soft cover pamphlet, will serve the purpose.   Light and easy to carry when I go to the trenches, to public places and secular meetings, where there are people who have  not yet met Jesus Christ.  A reference manual for those who know about the Lord but are not clear about some of His teachings.
